Melinda Sweeney

Principal / Director

Melinda started performing at 4 years old and received extensive training in the following specific styles of dance Classical, Jazz Ballet, Tap, American Funk and Hip Hop. Melinda was a professional dancer and choreographer during the entertainment boom of the 80's, working in all facets of the industry.

Melinda studied extensively in Australia and overseas performing with many international entertainers. Working alongside numerous artists such as Kelley Abbey, Jacquie Howard and Matt Lee.

After a successful career Melinda's goals were with developing children who shared the same dreams and passion for performing and entertaining a live audience.

In February 1988 the Just Jazz Talent Company was formed to pass on this knowledge to children, developing their skills and offering opportunities for performance in all levels and styles.

In July 2005, Melinda achieved a major milestone.The Just Jazz Talent Company further diversified and expanded into a new purpose built facility, offering students better programmes and incorporating tuition in the music industry. Studio 24 was born and added another exciting step in the journey.

As the Director of Studio 24 Melinda's main goal is to provide expert Tuition in all Genres of dance,carefully hand picking the best teachers Australia has to offer.

Melinda still enjoys teaching classes, especially the younger dancers as they need a good foundation to start their journey into the world of dance. Choreographing winning dance routines for the TDW is also her passion.

Jessica Ashton

Jessica holds a Certificate IV in Performing Arts from Brent Street Studios in Sydney. Whilst completing full-time dance studies, Jessica worked with countless industry professionals and took classes and workshops with internationally recognised artists.

Jessica has been dancing and performing since she was 4 years old. In that time, she has been involved in many productions including Goosebumps, developed for the Channel 7 Kids Carnival, The Adams Family Stage Show, produced by Studio 24 and Back to The Future, which was performed at the Don Russel Performing Arts Centre and major Shopping Centre venues.

In 2003, Jessica attended the LA Dance Force workshop and was awarded a Scholarship. She also participates in the Brent Street Summer School in Sydney every January where she received extensive training in all areas of performing arts.

Jessica won the lead role of Dorothy in Willetton Senior High Schools production of The Wizard of Oz in 2005 and was the character Bobby in The New MacDonalds Farm Stage Show which was presented at the Turning on of the Christmas Lights Forrest Place, Perth in 2006.

In 2008, Jessica performed and choreographed with Studio 24 Professional Corporate Shows and was a company member of Steps Youth Dance Company for their June season 'nospace'.

Jessica performed in the Perth Production of the National Candyman Tour at the Regal Theatre. She has also represented EduDance as a teacher in many primary schools across the metro area.

Jessica performed as one of the Perth Glory Cheerleaders in the 2013/2014 season.

Jessica completed her Certificate III an IV in Fitness at the Australian Institute of Fitness and is a fully qualified personal fitness trainer.

In 2017 Jessica toured Australia with 'Infamous' Circus Cabaret as dance captain and co-choreographer.

Jessica teaches Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Song & Dance and Acrobatics and will be leading many of the Comp Squad classes with her award winning choreography.

David Mueller

David Mueller is a graduate of the Bachelor of Arts (Dance) course at The West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) where he worked in a number of productions. He has also performed in the 'Revenge Is Sweeter' Tour (The Veronicas Concert) at Challenge Stadium in February 2009, 'The Countdown Spectacular' at Burswood Dome in 2007, 'The Oz Concert' and attended Options Tertiary Dance Festival in Adelaide, Brent Street Summer School in Sydney and Youth Dance Advance in NSW.

In 2001, David won the West Australian Young Performer of the Year Award (Dance) and was awarded the Critics Choice 'Dancer to Watch (Perth)' in 2004 and 'Dancer to Watch (Canberra)' in 2008 by Dance Australia Magazine.

From 2006-2008, David performed in the production of 'Honour Bound', directed by Nigel Jamieson and choreographed by Garry Stewart (ADT). Honour Bound toured to The Sydney Opera House, Malthouse Theatre (Melbourne), The Vienna Festival, Holland Festival, The Barbican Theatre (London) as part of the bite 07 season and The New Zealand International Arts Festival 2008 in Wellington and won a number of Awards.

In September 2008, David was invited to be involved in Cadi McCarthy's contemporary dance theatre work, 'Grappling for the Edge', which was created at Chez Bushwick in New York and performed at Canberra Theatre Centre. He is also a member of contemporary dance company, Visible Dance.

In January 2009, David joined Buzz Dance Theatre for their Korean tour of 'Cinderella Dressed in Yella', which was featured in the ASSITEJ Children's Winter Festival. He spent April in Canberra with Cadi McCarthy and Company performing her latest work, 'Restless', at Canberra Theatre Centre. David also choreographed for Hampton SHS in 'Kinetic Kaos' and Winthrop Baptist College in 'South of the Swan.' Both performed at the Octagon Theatre in June.

During 2009, David choreographed performances for John Curtin College of the Arts, Willetton SHS and Presbyterian Ladies College and was awarded 'Runner-Up' in the SYTYCD Westfield Dance Competition.

In 2010, David performed with Buzz Dance Theatre in 'At The Beach' at King Street Arts Centre in Perth and 'Behind The Veneer' at The Playhouse and Mandurah Performing Arts Centre.

2011 saw David return to study at Edith Cowan University to complete a Diploma of Education (Secondary). After a year of specialist and relief teaching, David has secured a full time Performing Arts teaching position at Atwell College.

2020 is David's 23rd year at Studio 24 and he will be teaching Lyrical, Contemporary and Slow Modern classes.

Monique Thornton

Monique has been training at Studio 24 since 2003 in Commercial Jazz, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Ballet and Hip Hop. Monique has competed at local dance competitions in solos and troupe dances.

Monique was also part of the 2014 USA tour to Orlando Florida where she performed at Disney World, Universal Studios and NASA. Monique attended workshops at Disney Performing Arts.

Monique completed a Certificate II in Dance.

Monique has a special gift when it comes to our petite dancers they just love her. Monique teaches Ballet from 3 years upwards, Acrodance and Comp Squad

Jessica Woodhill

Jessica has been training at Studio 24 for 14 years in Jazz/Funk, Tap, Acrobatics, Ballet , Hip Hop and Lyrical.

Jessica has trained with several international artists including choreographer Ryan Sheppard

Jessica completed her Stage 3 WACE dance exams as well as completing a Diploma in Dance.

Jessica participates in workshops and classes and performs in many local productions. Now contracted to Nickelodeon and Showtime Entertainment Jessica performs regularly in their shows as well as corporate performances at The Crown Casino.

Jessica teaches Jazz , Hip Hop and Lyrical classes as well as being a teacher for our Comp Squad. Jessica choreographed winning routines for many of our Comp Squad dancers.

Keeley Kuther

Keeley has been part of the Studio 24 Family since she was 3 years old and has trained in all genres.

For the past 4 years Keeley has been a key assistant for several teachers at the studio particularly with the Ballet and Hip Hop programs.

Keeley has been apart of the TDW program for 8 years competing locally in troupes, solos and duos.

Keeley has travelled to the USA twice where she performed and attended workshops in LA, Orlando and New York.

Keeley also dances at corporate events and cheerleads for both the state and national basketball teams Willetton Tigers and West Coast Waves.

Keeley has a Cert 2 in Dance and is also teaching in primary schools for EduDance

Elysha Atwell

Elysha started dancing at studio 24 in 2004 when she was 3 years old and is trained in all genres.

Since age 6 Elysha has been part of the TDW program at Studio 24. Since then Elysha has been apart of all genres of troupes, competing in many dance competitions. Elysha has also been very successful when competing as a soloist and in many duos and trios.

Elysha also performs as one of our cheerleaders for the Willetton Tigers SBL teams, aswell as cheerleading for the Perth Lynx and West Coast Waves on occasions.

In 2011 Elysha joined us for our first America trip where she performed at Disneyland, universal studios and Hollywood boulevard, also taking part in workshops at Disneyland and the edge performing arts centre. Elysha also joined us in 2017 as we travelled back to America taking part in even more performances such as on the Carnival Miracle cruise ship and took part in workshops at Abby Lee dance Company LA and Millennium dance complex.

In 2012 Elysha travelled to Sydney to take part in Brent streets winter intensive workshop where she took part in a 4 day long program of workshops where she took class from some of the best such as Stephen Tannos. Later in the year Elysha travelled down south to Busselton where she took place in a southwest summer school dance intensity workshop. Over the five days of the intensity workshop, Elysha participated in workshops by Davie Denis, Nancy Denis, Austin Chandler and studio 24’s own Jessica Sweeney.

Elysha has also taken part in many other workshops over the years with dancers such as Marko Panzic, Michael Dameski, Katie Sanchez, Ryan Sheppard, Lauren Seymour and popular “dance academy” stars such as Jordon Rodrigues, Isabel Durant and Keiynan Lonsdale.

In 2013 Elysha began studying at John Curtin College of the Art’s in the specialist dance program where she performed in many productions over the years such as Snow queen, Alice in wonderland, Innovations, reflections and many more. In Elysha’s final years at JCCA she studied dance ATAR. After completing her final year 12 WACE exams she received an invitation to audition for the show Perspectives after receiving one of the highest marks in WA in the WACE dance practical exam, 2017.

For the past 3 years Elysha has been contracted to Showtime Attractions, which she has performed in shows such as Trolls as the host and Peter Pan as Tinkerbelle, as well as taking part in many other performance opportunities.

Elysha performed in Cararet de Paris, The Untilate Vegas Show and Circus of Illusion at Crown Theater Elysha also performed at the Fringe Festival in Madonna Circus and the Dolly Parton Spectacular 2020/2021

Brandan Hardie

Brandan Hardie is a Perth-based dancer who commenced his training with a local dance school in 2005. As he grew older, he began to explore various styles of dance at Studio 24 where his love of dance was cultivated. He started competing in regional dance competitions and went on to receive national titles and finalist positions in various competitions and ballet galas. In 2013 He decided to broaden his knowledge of dance and successfully auditioned for John Curtin College of the Arts, Fremantle, WA. Over the course of the next 2 years, he learnt the fundamentals of Ballet and Contemporary techniques while simultaneously training at Studio 24, Participating in numerous performances including student works helped to improve his onstage presence and movement quality. In 2015 he successfully auditioned for the West Australian Ballet’s masterclass program.

In 2016 he transitioned into full-time ballet with Perth Classical and Contemporary Coaching. Over the next 2 years, he studied RAD syllabus and learnt repertoire from numerous classical ballets where he performed lead roles in Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty. During this time he won the RAD Senior Male Dancer award and was a RAD Bursary Finalist. He was also invited to several summer schools including Bolshoi Ballet (Russia) and Dutch National Ballet (Netherlands) and attended the Boys Summer School in Sydney.

In 2017, Brandan successfully auditioned for the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and commenced his training the following year. While studying at WAAPA, he completed his Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Dance as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Dance).

Through WAAPA, Brandan not only refined both his ballet and contemporary technique but also placed a strong focus on pas de deux and contemporary partnering as it is a vital skill for professional dancers. In his first year, Brandan flew to Hong Kong to participate in Royal Ballet’s spring school and also returned to the West Australian Ballet’s masterclass program with a scholarship. Brandan studied choreography at WAAPA and created 4 original pieces in 2018 and 2019. Whilst studying at WAAPA, he performed in various works. In his first year (2018) he performed an original classical work choreographed by Andries Weidemann: ‘Court Dances’ and excerpts from The Nutcracker Remounted by Andries Weidemann: ‘Dances of The Nutcracker’. In his second year, he began with ‘Shade’, an original contemporary work choreographed by Kim McCarthy for WAAPA’s ‘Rise’ season. He then went on to perform in the student work seasons ‘Unleash’ and ‘Transient’ and finished the year with ‘Coppeilia Suite’, a remounted classical work by Kim McCarthy and Danielle Hunt.

At the end of his second year, he attended Brisbane International Contemporary Dance Prix where he was awarded a finalist position and received secondment opportunities from companies/schools both national and international. In his final year at WAAPA, he took on several secondments with SLIDE Youth Dance Theatre, based in Darwin. While in Darwin he performed in 3 seasonal shows choreographed and staged by Joanna Noonan, including Secrets, Someone Else’s Story, and DSO Pictures, a collaboration with the Darwin Symphony Orchestra, and was also a Guest Artist for the West Australian Ballet.

Now a graduate of WAAPA, Brandan continues to train and refine his technique whilst taking on as many professional performance opportunities as possible, with hopes to join a professional ballet or contemporary company in the future. He is invested in giving students a plethora of different dance techniques in order to create the most versatile and knowledgeable version of themselves.

Nikita Price

Nikita has been training and competing in dance from the age of 4 and has had the opportunity to train at multiple dance schools developing her skills in each genre of dance. She is trained in Jazz, Tap, Classical, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip hop, Commercial Jazz and Music Theatre (vocals), specialising in Tap with guidance from performers of the Australian Tap Festival.

Nikita has trained in vocals from a young age, with guidance from WAAPA Gospel Singer, Matt Allen, along with acting training leading her to her role of ‘July’ the orphan in the 2012 Crown Theatre music theatre production of Annie.

Nikita has completed her Certificate 2 and 3 in Music. She has also completed her dance exams in CSTD and ATDA and has won numerous awards in dance competitions including Junior Dancer of the Festival and Adjudicators Award.

Nikita has been teaching dance from the age of 14, assisting with classes of all ages and choreographing solos, duos, trios and troupe routines. She is excited to continue her teaching career with Studio 24 and is looking forward to another year with the Studio 24 team.

Lilee Slobe

Lilee has been training at Studio 24 since 2009 in Jazz, Tap, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, Ballet and Lyrical.

She has been apart of Comp Squad and competing in troupes for 9 years.

Lilee has performed as a cheerleader for the Willetton Tigers (State Basketball League) for a few years and has had the opportunity to perform at the Perth Lynx Basketball.

Lilee travelled to Florida in the 2017 USA tour to Anaheim and Los Angeles, California where she performed at Disney World, Universal Studios, Hollywood Boulevard and Kennedy Space Station. Whilst in Orlando, Anaheim & Los Angeles, Lilee attended workshops at the Disney Performing Arts, The Edge, Millenium Dance Complex and Abbey Lee Dance Company.

Lilee has been an assistant at Studio 24 for the last few years and is now teaching Acrobatics and Hip Hop as well as Acrobatic Troupe for Studio 24 Comp Squad.

Sharon Webb

Sharon joined the Studio 24 family at age 2, and has trained in Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Commercial Jazz.

Sharon has competed in a range of genres at local dance competitions as a member of our Comp Squad, and has previously been a cheerleader for the Willetton Tigers (State Basketball League).

She has participated in numerous productions with Lumen Christi College, including Guys and Dolls, Peter Pan and Hairspray. In 2016, Sharon was the Dance Captain for Lumen Christi College, running extra curricular dance classes for years 7 -12, as well as participating and choreographing in both the Liturgical and Specialist Dance troupes, performing as part as the Catholic Performing Arts Festival. She also studied ATAR Dance in Years 11 & 12.

Sharon has participated in many performance opportunities around Perth, including dancing for Em Rusciano’s “Rage + Rainbows” tour (2019), and promotional work for McDonalds, most notably at the AFL Grand Final 2021.

Sharon loves working with our little ones and she is so excited to teach Ready Set Dance, Ready Set Ballet, Ready Set Move with Me and Hip Hop, as well as choreographing solos for our Comp Squad dancers.

Krysten Parker

Krysten’s love of dance started with classical ballet at the age of 3, joining Studio 24 at age 5 she has trained extensively in all genres of dance.

Part of the Comp Squad team for 10 years she has performed at various competitions in all Troupes and competed successfully as a soloist and in duos/trios.

Krysten was accepted into the gifted and talented program for Contemporary Dance at John Curtin College of the Arts where she has furthered her training in Ballet and Contemporary.

Attending various local workshops from visiting artists such as Marko Panzic, Renee Ritchie, Paris Cavanagh and Abbey Lee Miller.

Cheerleading for the Willetton Tigers (State Basketball League) for a number of years and on occasion the West Coast Waves and Perth Lynx Basketball Teams.
Also taking part in various performances at events such as community fairs, shopping centres, charity and corporate events.

Travelling to America with Studio 24 in 2017 she performed at various locations such as Disneyland, Hollywood Boulevard and Universal Studios. Whilst in Los Angeles attending dance workshops at Millenium Dance Complex, Abbey Lee Dance Co LA and the Edge Performing Arts Center.

Krysten has completed a Cert III in Education support she is currently studying the Cert IV.

Taking part in yearly training for the Ready Set Dance program and assisting classes for the last few years Krysten has now progressed to become a certified Ready Set Ballet teacher and has also completed training for the Dance Cirque program.

Krysten has been an assistant teacher for a number of years as well as choreographing solos for Studio 24 's younger dancers. Krysten is now excited to have her own classes to share her experience and passion for dance with her students, helping them to gain confidence and reach their full potential.

Kayla Perkin

Kayla has been dancing at studio 24 since a young age training in Jazz, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, Ballet and Contemporary.

She has been apart of Comp Squad and competing in troupes for 7 years. She also trained in Gymnastics at the age of 7 competing in bar, floor and trampoline.

Kayla has done cheerleading for the Willetton Tigers (State Basketball League) for a few years and has had the opportunity to perform at the Perth Lynx Basketball. She also travelled to New Caledonia in 2019 with Studio 24 to compete on a cruise ship.

Kayla has completed her Cert III in Education support and has her first aid qualifications and working with children check.

Taking part in yearly training for the ‘Ready Set Dance’ program and assisting classes for a couple of years Kayla is very thrilled to now have her own ‘Ready Set Ballet class’. She has also completed training for the ‘Dance Cirque Program’.

Kayla now choreographs solos for Studio 24’s younger dancers after assisting classes for a couple of years, improving her skills.

Kerrin Lawless

Kerrin's passion for dance started at the age of three in a small dance studio in Scotland. Kerrin's back ground only focused on hip hop until joining Studio 24 in 2014.

Kerrin trained in all genres of dance before joining the Comp Squad team which she has been competing in for 6 years.

Kerrin was then given the opportunity to Cheer for the Willeton Tigers (State Basketball League) and cheered for them for a number of years. Kerrin also got the opportunity to cheer for the West Coast Waves and Perth Lynx Basketball Teams.

In 2017 Kerrin travelled to America and preformed at various locations such as Disneyland, Hollywood Boulevard, and Universal Studios. During the time being in America Kerrin attended a variety of workshops at Millennium Dance Complex, Abbey Lee Dance Co, LA and the Edge Performing Arts Centre. After travelling in America Kerrin then proceeded to compete in a competition on a cruise travelling around Mexico.

In 2019 Kerrin then got the opportunity to compete in another competition on a cruise travelling around the New Caledonian Islands.

Kerrin currently has her First Aid Certificate and a working with Childrens check.

Kerrin has assisted various troupes and classes for the studio along with teaching solos for the junior students. This year Kerrin will be teaching Hip Hop which will enable her to share her love for the art to the younger generation of dancers and hopefully become a great role model.

Jacquie La Roche

Jacquie began her dancing life at the age of 5 with Jazz, Tap and Ballet. At the age of 6, Jacquie was selected to perform at the Fremantle Theatre in the production "Cinderella" as one of the fairies.
Jacquie has been training at Studio 24 for six years in Commercial Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet and Hip Hop. Jacquie has been a member of TDW for 5 years and has competed at local dance competitions in solos and troupe dances.

Jacquie was part of both the 2014 USA tour to Orlando, Florida and the 2017 USA tour to Anaheim and Los Angeles, California where she performed at Disney World, Universal Studios, Hollywood Boulevard and Kennedy Space Station. Whilst in Orlando, Anaheim & Los Angeles, Jacquie attended workshops at the Disney Performing Arts, The Edge, Millenium Dance Complex and Abbey Lee Dance Company.

Jacquie is currently completing her Cert III in Assistant Dance Teaching and Cert IV in Dance Teaching & Management.
Jacquie will be teaching Ready Set Dance and Hip Hop, as well as assisting many of the other teachers throughout Studio 24.

Kade Sweeney

Kade has been training at Studio 24 since he was 5 years old in Jazz, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Classical, Contemporary and Lyrical.

Kade was accepted into WAAPA when he was 14 years old but due to his Sate Basketball commitments Kade was unable to accept the offer.

In 2015 Kade moved to Melbourne for two years where he completed a Certificate IV in Dance and Diploma in Musical Theater.

Kade has performed all over Australia working with Australia's top Australian choreographers.

2017/2018 Kade is contracted to Royal Caribbean, Ovation of The Seas and is performimg in the show 'Pixels'.

2019/2020 Kade is contracted to Royal Caribbean, Quantum of The Seas

2022 Quantum of the Seas

Kade will be teaching at Studio 24 between his contacts with Royal Caribbean.

Gabby Kirby

Gabby is from Tampa Florida and Trained at All American Dance Factory -17 years and at All American Classical Ballet School - 9 years.

Gabby has been working as a professional dancer for the Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships

Since Gabby has been living in Perth she has performed in Cabaret de Paris and the Ultimate Vegas Show - Crown Theater.
Gabby also performed at the Fringe Festival in Madonna Circus and the Dolly Parton Spectacular 2020/2021

Gabby is now working in Perth at Studio 24 teaching Acrobatics, AcroPlus and Ballet.

Abbey Jarvis

Abbey began her love affair with dance at the early age of 2. Studying the CSTD syllabus at the Connie Vidos School of Dance in Bunbury for 12 years. CSTD Examinations were a focal point where Abbey achieved high results in Theatrical, Classical, Modern Jazz and Tapping peaking with her Dorothy Gladstone Public Stage Examinations were she achieved both Honours and Honours Plus.

During these early years Abbey attended numerous workshops, festivals and classes with national and international prestigious choreographers. Always a team player Abbey successfully competing at local Eisteddfods and dance festivals in troupe routines as well as in solo and duo sections.

To further her training at the age of 12 Abbey travelled to Sydney to attend the Village On Broadway Summer School where she was taught by leading industry choreographers such as Wayne Aspinall, Jacquie Howard and Kelley Abbey. This lead to Abbey being offered a full-time position at the School.

In 2014 Abbey travelled to the USA where she enjoyed taking class at the Edge Performing Arts Centre in Los Angeles and the Broadway Dance Centre in New York.

With Abbey's passion for dance intensifying she made the brave move to Perth with her family to study at John Curtin College of the Arts majoring in Contemporary Dance. This is when Abbey chose to join Studio 24 and successfully auditioned for the TDW team in all available genres and was also an Assistant Teacher.

2016 sees Abbey again take a leap of faith leaving school to pursue her career in dance. Successfully auditioning in multiple full time programs where she chose to attend the prestigious Charlesworth Ballet Institute to study full time certificate 2,3 and 4 in Ballet Performance in the Vaganova method. This also incorporates Spanish, Contemporary and Character Dance.

Ongoing employment with Showtime Entertainment has seen Abbey enjoying performance opportunities in the industry she so loves.

Abbey is excited to be teaching and is absolutely loving being part of Team 24.

Emma Gherardi

Emma has been training at Studio 24 for 12 years in Commercial Jazz, Ballet, Hiphop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Acrobatics and Cheerleading.

Emma has competed in many competitions with Studio 24 including, troupes, solos and duos, as well as performing with the cheerleading Tigerettes at the State Basketball League for many years. Emma has also participated in numerous workshops with choreographers such as Ryan Sheppard ‘Wicked’ the Musical, Jason Coleman Ministry of Dance and dancers from Cirque du Soleil.

Emma travelled to America in 2014 & 2017 with Studio 24, performing at Disney Theme Parks, Universal Studios and NASA. Whilst in America, Emma attended workshops at Broadway Dance Centre in New York, Millenium Dance Complex in Hollywood and Edge Performing Arts in LA.

Emma has a love of performing and entertaining young children. Over the years, Emma was contracted to Showtime Attractions regularly performing in live stage shows and also took part in a short feature film for Constable Care.

In 2017, Emma was contracted to KRAVE Perth Dance Agency.

After successfully being contracted with KRAVE Perth Dance Agency in 2017, Emma has completed 2 cruise ship contracts. In 2018/2019, Emma was contracted to Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines - Allure of the Seas, performing under DreamWorks as well as completing a second contract in 2019/2020 with Bahamas Paradise Cruise Lines - Grand Classica, performing in Soul of the City and Blitz theatre shows.

Emma has completed her Certificate II in Dance.

Emma is currently back in Perth at Studio 24 choreographing solos/duos, teaching KTL Technique classes and assisting the Dance Cirque and Little Monkeys circus programmes

Poppy Bristow

Poppy found her passion for performing at a young age growing up in the UK. She has a background of competitive Gymnastics and Cheerleading and has since been trained in all genres of dance.

Poppy’s gymnastics led her to WA Institute of Sport into the Gymnastics Talent Squad Team 2013/14 and winning State Champion 2 years running in her division.

Poppy has been training at Studio 24 in the Comp Squad program for the past 4 years and has gone on to compete in numerous competitions as a dancer as well as taking part in local performances. Poppy has been very successful in competing as a soloist as well as in duos/trios, winning many awards. She has taken part in a variety of workshops with industry known choreographers. In 2019 she was a part of the Willeton Basketball Tigerettes cheerleading team for the SBL.

In 2015 Poppy began studying at John Curtin College of the Arts in the drama specialist program where she performed in many productions such as Antigone, A Funny Thing Happened, Brave New World, Things I Know To Be True and many more. Poppy has also performed as an actor in television, being contracted to NowActors.

In 2018 Poppy was signed to Showtime Attractions where she has taken part in many performance opportunities, such as Dinosaur Train at Perth Zoo New Years Eve Party and joining Nickelodeon at the Big Bash League, to name a few.

Poppy is currently an active dancer/performer for Platinum Entertainment, recently performing as a dancer in ‘We Will Rock You’ by Ben Elton/Queen and currently cast in ‘Cats’ by Andrew Lloyd-Webber, as the role of Tumblebrutus.
